Exodus Login is designed to help you migrate your devices from an EMM to another EMM in the most frictionless way possible.

It streamlines the processes for both the IT Team in charge of the migration but also the end-users of which devices must be migrated. This document will help you grasp the essentials about Exodus.


Signing in

You can connect to your Exodus dashboard by authenticating with your email address.

  • Access your personal Exodus login page with the URL we provided you
  • Enter your email address
  • Enter your password
  • Click on Sign in


Creating a new migration from your dashboard

You can create a new migration from your Exodus dashboard.

Once signed in, click on the blue New Migration button, located on the top right corner of your dashboard

Migration Name: give your migration a name and a quick description, then click on “Next”

Source: in that step, you need to provide few elements about your source environment. Those elements are:

  1. The EMM server type (if several are supported)
  2. A list of specific fields which depends on the EMM server type chosen above.
  3. If you have any iOS devices assigned in Apple DEP (Device Enrollment Program), you must choose whether you want to initiate a Device Wipe on those devices (Official workflow) or not (Exodus Legacy workflow).
  4. If you wish to migrate your compatible Android devices (i.e. Android 6+) to an Android Enterprise fully managed environment.
  5. Click on Next to get to the Target step: you now need to provide elements about your target environment. Like previous step, those elements are:
  • The EMM server type (if several are supported)
  • A list of specific fields which depends on the EMM server type chosen above.
  1. Click on Next to get to the Summary step: you can see the name of the migration, the date it was created, information about the host source and information about the host target, and a quick description.
  2. Click Save. Exodus will then look up for both environment and see if:
  • It can access it
  • It sees all the devices
  • It sees if the instance is correctly set up for everything
  1. Your migration is now ready to begin.
  2. You now have the option to either click on the Start all ready devices button to start the migration of all your ready devices at once, or selectively start each of them one by one or in bulk using the corresponding ⋮ button in the device list below (see Console Guide for more details).

The Exodus Companion App shall now be used on the concerned devices to un-enroll and re-enroll them to the new EMM platform.

Secure: Understandably, Exodus places a heavy emphasis on security. Exodus encrypts your private keys and transaction data on your device, which means nobody can access your cryptocurrency but you.

Touch ID, Face ID, and Biometric Authentication: Exodus lets you enable Touch ID and Face ID (or Android biometric sensors) to verify transactions. If you want to verify your identity every time you make a transaction, then Exodus lets you do that.

Staking: Earn interest on your crypto holdings without leaving the Exodus app. Exodus lets you stake ONT in your in-app Ontology wallet, for example, to earn passive income.

Built-in Exchange: You can buy and sell cryptocurrencies without leaving the Exodus app. Exodus has a built-in exchange. You’ll pay a small commission fee to use this exchange, but it may be cheaper (and more convenient) then sending your money to exchange and back.

Multiple Themes Available: Exodus lets you customize your trading interface using multiple themes. Many other wallets have a one-size-fits-all design, so it’s nice to see that Exodus gives users more flexibility.
